A few things to know.
Not yet. RipScare is in development. We’ll share prototype progress, confirmed specifications, and Kickstarter launch details as they become available. There’s no confirmed launch or delivery date.
RipScare is being developed as an additional visual deterrent and signaling tool. Its effectiveness as an animal deterrent is unproven, and wildlife can react unpredictably to sudden movement. It is not a replacement for bear spray or established wildlife safety practices.
The concept uses a clamp-on pole mount. Supported pole sizes, final dimensions, and weight will be published after prototype testing. Universal compatibility is not yet confirmed.
The images on this page are concept illustrations of the design and its proposed uses. Final product details may change. Real prototype photos and an unedited deployment demonstration are planned as development progresses.
